Chick Pea Salad
1 can chick peas, drained
2 C. water
1 clove garlic
2 T. olive oil
2 T. vinegar
salt to taste
2 T. minced onion
Drain peas. In a sauce pan add peas, water and a clove of garlic. Smash the garlic with the back of your knife. Simmer for 15 minutes. Remove garlic clove. Drain peas. Smash peas with a potato masher. Add salt, oil, vinegar, and onions. Mix and cool. Yummy!
