Broccoli Cornbread

This Is my recipe for Broccoli Cornbread

* 2 jiffy corn muffin mixes
* 1 can cream corn
* 1 onion, diced
* 1/2 soup can of water
* 1 bag frozen broccoli thawed

Mix all ingredients together Place in a 9 by 13 sprayed dish. Bake at 350 degress for around 1 hour.
 It is moist and yummy!

Chicken Corn Chowder

Chicken Corn Chowder! This is a recipe I created that was published in Goose Berry Patch Slow-cooker Christmas favorites. I was so thrilled! Like BEYOND THRILLED! You would have thought I won a huge award the way I reacted! I was screaming and jumping! Yea, not pretty a pretty site! What can I say... I have a boring Mom life! Let me tell you it was THRILLING for me! So here is the recipe.

Easy Chicken Corn Chowder
* 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast, cooked and diced
* 3 14-3/4 oz. cans creamed corn
* 15-1/4 oz. can of corn, drained
* 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
* 1 green pepper, diced
* 1 onion, diced
* 1 T. minced garlic

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker; stir gently. Cover and cook on low setting for 6-8 hours. Serves 6

Seedlings

We started some of our seeds this week! We have planted 36 broccoli plants and 36 spinach plants so far. I will continue doing this every 2 weeks till we can plant outside! Please warm weather come soon!!!!

 

Spring

Yes!!!!! It's Spring! We have 12 new chicks, and 4 ducks to add to our flock! Anna my 13 year old is their caretaker. She has been working really hard! Her Dad surprised her with a pair of work gloves! :)
